Gouvia is more than a beautiful place—it's a piece of living history. The ruins of the 18th-century Venetian Arsenal still stand by the water, quiet reminders of a time when ships were built and launched into the Ionian Sea. These old arches and stone walls now frame the horizon, offering one of the most picturesque walks in the area. At the heart of the village lies the Gouvia Marina—Corfu’s largest and most vibrant harbor. It draws sailors from all over Europe, bringing a lively yet relaxed energy to the area. By day, it’s the perfect spot for a stroll. By night, the lights of the marina reflect across the bay, setting the scene for unforgettable evenings..
